Hey guys, Im looking to set up a new company hauling intrastate in Texas. I will be starting with 2 '97 Freightliners and pneumatic tanks. What would I be looking at roughly for insurance on something like these? Total value would be in the $60K neighbourhood. Clean driving record and 15 years OTR.
New authority/insurance for Texas

Thanks for providing those, much appreciated!! I'm also gonna call OOIDA and NASTC about their rates.

Let me know what you find out. We're also getting our own intrastate authority. Got tired of being nickled and dimed to death by these other companies.

Yet they'll happily take your membership fees!

Try this guy. We just got our insurance as a new venture and it was 9k. If you pay in full you'll save a bunc as well.
