    Mo diff than standard model..Just different mic case and that flex cord can be a grounding issue..

    Someone(the gd shop guy) switched my 980 to pa, took me my last trip to figure it out, again, I could hear but not talk.

    Got it fixed, and by the meter and response, it's still working, 636 Chrome. Never used stock mic is still in the truck. Have a few of those.

    I was surprized to see a chrome sr 198 yesterday..I hummed and hawed a lil and said naw..Not paying $56 for it..
