Oh... i get it now. That's a restraining rope tied round yer neck and the other end gripped by the boss lady.
-
And a crazy straw! -
Something tells me I should get back to the truck before the lack of sunlight makes this decline harder than it should be...
Was fun though. Thirty minute hike got me doing something... could’ve sat in the truck and watched the rest of the football games but eh... Patriots won so we’re good.
Get out and hike something. It’s good for ya
If I had more time and came prepared with some water I’d be hiking to that flat rock in the distance and having me a little “contemplation about life” session.
We’re all so small... compared to this. Gonna go get me some dinner.
Y’all be cool
Oxbow, whoopNride, BigBob410 and 19 others Thank this. -
Jeez, very nice of you to post that. One of my favorite old pics. My parents played a very important part in my life, was blessed to have them both in it for well over 60 years. Even though I didn't always agree with them,as you get older and look back, you realize they were just trying to do what was best for you. Miss the hell out of both of them, think of them every day. Literally, everything I have in my life that is important to me,is because of them.
Anyway,I'll post another old tractor pic. I know the green guys won't like this one,but I have them too. Our 1954 Super M antique puller.Pic is from 7 or 9 years ago. My son, with his older son back then, when he was little. He looks to be about two there,he's 10 now,in the 5th grade. (Straight A's,yeah). My son and I built that tractor/engine together in our shop over 25 years ago. 58 Farmall 450 block and lp head, stroked crankshaft, bored to 4 3/8,custom grind high lift cam, high compression forged aluminum pistons, roller rockers, manifold and head porting, big carb, electronic ignition, custom governor, two legged pulling clutch.
Have had tons of fun with that tractor over the years, usually brings home some kind of bacon where ever it pulls. And has stayed together all these years, with very little maintenance, and it's a whole lot cheaper to play with than my drag car. Looks fairly stock, till it fires up,but has that unmistakable high compression, camshaft overlap, "pop" in the exhaust that can't be hidden. Stays at my sons shop now,he's always busy, but it still gets out once or twice a year.

Great pics from out west, stwik. It will probably sound weird, maybe because I'm getting old,but I'd rather be on that hill, than on that beach..........but the beach is a close second, lol.
