Thanks for all of the recommendations! Never heard of any of them. I will look into each and every one of them though. I really appreciate you! Thanks.

Apply to as many companies as you want to, then take the best offer that pleases you.

DOT Foods in Vidalia, you're at the cusp of the hiring range. If you run transfer you're home weekly or better, delivery may get you home more but you'll throw freight. The benefits are great and what you'll need for your kids

Navajo Express, Freymiller, Magnum Ltd., MCT Transportation are ok for coast to coast and they all hire new cdl graduates. Hometime won't be as good with these long haul outfits, but the money is good and you'll see the USA.

I think @Chinatown has covered it all so I won't add to that. However I would add as a female don't get disappointed if you go to and finish orientation and get sent home to wait on a trainer. Unless you are comfortable with being trained by a male and anybody that smokes. Even then you might have to wait. There are many more male trainers then female. Same with smoking. I know a lady that is starting her 2nd week waiting on a female none smoker to become available. Give this some serious thought and decide how you want to play this.

@Moose1958 Thank you! I appreciate the advice. NO I don't want to be waiting for a trainer and No I don't want a smoker. I might be willing to have a make trainer but then I don't know. I'm ready to start working NOW but finding the right company is important. Smh...too many factors to consider. Thanks again.

    Lol..yes, meals. I'm broke remember?
Seriously though, I see alot of mega companies provide all or some meals during orientation. That's really what I was talking about. Unless there's some other meal incentives you can tell me about? I sure could use em.
