With the way those nut jobs drive down in Encinal Texas this is no surprise really.

I only see them hauling cars out here.

 

Schneider took over the last remnants of International Transport/Dealers Transit,when they were done,one of the largest and greatest heavy haul operation back in the day. Along with C&H Transportation,those two companys ruled the oversize/heavy haul business in the regulated days all over North America,from Mexico to Alaska. IT was known for its green and yellow trucks,if you were leased to them,you had to paint your truck those colors.
When I was laid over in Seattle,their yard was right down the street from ours. We used to use their forklifts to rework our freight,I remember drooling over all the freight they had stacked everywhere. Hard to believe deregulation could kill off those big operations,but it did.

Thats exactly what I was told. I know of 3 guys that were leased on at IT a few years before Schneider took it over. They said at first, things seemed like it might work....then They said it didnt take long and Schneider destroyed one of the best heavy haul outfits in America.

 

I’ve been in south Oklahoma and north Texas the last couple of days and I’m getting spammed big time by Stevens to drive water trucks.

Talks about how great it is not to just have to drive but you get to get out of the truck, And move around! How satisfying it is to be a part of something bigger than yourself and quality home time in your own bed every day.

Come drive a water truck for us!
