Just seen a QC flamible tanker run over a sign in parking lot on drivers side and take 3 shots to get on scale. Eld sure has made them safer. I really wanted to know why tank trailers always have the fenders banged up. now I know why. And yes I would have helped, but it to late as I looked up.

I guess some people thinking having a video and a mic gives them cart Blanche to espouse their knowledge or lack there of. Most research tells you that someone with a Knife can close a 21 foot gap before you have time to draw and fire. We always said 21 feet plus blade length.
You have to train for that type scenario, it’s harder to draw when you are backpedaling. I fully agree with the create space and then fire mantra, that’s why you train in those scenarios. If someone pulls a knife on me, I am definitely running away, and drawing my weapon while moving, not standing or backpedaling. They aren’t Usain Bolt, you will create enough space to accomplish this.
I have trained strong hand magazine exchange, weak hand magazine exchange, pretending your strong arm is disabled and you have to load a new magazine and move the slide to cycle using a hard object to catch the rear sight. (Standing and shooting at a target does absolutely no good in a high stress situation where your adrenaline is surging.)
Having a round stovepiped is a good training scenario since you have to drop the mag, clear the jam, reload the mag and chamber a round. Most shootouts occur at 7 feet or less, and the accuracy is low. Imagine Evil Knievel here trying to hit a target with a pistol, adrenaline pumping from 25 yards. I would hate to be a bystander.Al. Ok, non farmer stupid question time.
Those are soybeans aren't they? How do those thin spikes get the beans off of the vine/plant? I would have thought you would use some kind of paddles to harvest those. Do a lot of them get knocked to the ground and not harvested?BigBob410, 4mer trucker, 1951 ford and 14 others Thank this. -
