What does "non code" mean with respect to tanker trailer?

    Depending on the location sniffer readings were needed every 15-30 minutes so we needed sniffers to record readings . Somes area had slanted floors and readings would be higher in lower areas . Some units had walls corroded along the floor . As sludge was removed gases might seep in from adjoining units .
