We have this 2009 Freightliner Columbia that my driver drives.
The headlights on it are not great compared to the aftermarket square 4x6 LED headlights that I installed in my Freightliner FLD. These totally rock and the Columbia is not so great. My driver is 6 years older than me and needs better lights for night driving, and winter is coming.
Does anyone have suggestions for something really decent? Maybe new 9007 LED bulbs instead of replacing the headlight, which is actually relatively new compared to the truck?
Thanks
LED headlights for Freightliner Columbia?

I replaced the headlights with led projectors. They are aftermarket, got them from an online sight. The difference is...night and day. Best upgrade I’ve done to the truck by far.

Do you remember where you got them and make and model? How long have you had them?

I have a century cab and replaced the head light assy with the led / projection lights and that sure made a difference plus looks much better. The light bulbs are much easier to replace than the original light assy.

We ended up buying Kensun HID 10k lights. I will report how it looks after we install them.

Hi, sorry for restarting an old thread, but..
are these just bulbs or the whole headlight?
If just bulbs did you put them in the stock non projector headlights?
How did it all work out?
My Columbia needs headlights again, and I'm not doing the stock ones. -
as long as the lens (plastic is good) just change the bulb to LED. This is my prostar with just the LED upgrade... got the LEDs at Advance

My lenses are shot, and I find that just adding the led lamps to regular lights that aren't projectors make it hard for on coming traffic.Itsbrokeagain Thanks this.
