So last one for the night. 1971 Newport News Va. I think its a 1964 S model 513 gasser and about a 1950's Brown or Dorsey trailer. The Bankrupt Express. Leased on to Hennis Freight Lines. They threatened to terminate lease if he didn't remove the name from the hood. His first ride as a owner op. Purchased 1970 for 6500.00 truck and trailer.

 

Just a steady drizzle now. Rained pretty decent all day since about noon though. Still raining up there?

 

Been a consistent drizzle since I pulled the knobs at 7pm...

Swear they parked my new trailer where all the mud holes are too... so happy I didn’t wash the truck after all.

Decided to go ahead and get it all done tonight. Tarps and straps are tight. Know I won’t wanna do it in the morning...

Gotta hangout till 7am anyway for some paperwork and shoot the #### with the office staff for a bit. Gotta make US54 my ##### tomorrow and get down as close to El Paso as I can. Two drops Friday and then book it to El Centro. One drop in Calexico Monday and then three more I gotta kick off by Wednesday morning in SoCal.

I’m screaming. All the places in California look unfriendly to be yanking a tarp around... eek. Here I sit staring at a yard filled with Quickdraws... makes ya wanna slap someone when you get a 6 stop load...

I’ll get er done though and manage a reset in the process

But then you had to call it porn and by gum I gotta see it if it's got that label. That's what you call porn ? Really ? There weren't any gals in thigh high boots in those pictures. Not a tramp stamp in sight. Are you from Canada or something ?

I speced it that way, I’ve never pulled a beam that had enough D-rings from the factory, so I had them add them

 

That’s go ours are, I don’t think I have a picture of them hooked up but I will take one. Yes the bed can be put back on, the truck hitch pins in right where the bed goes. We’ve never put ours on but they say less than 8 hours after you figure it out.
