It depends on how long you’ve been here....there are guys still doing the 67 of 98. And met a few guys who said they were doing the 75% contract( 1st contract maybe?)

I'm not sure, but if these guys are getting $1.40 mile after LS cut, I'm going to have to evaluate what I'm doing wrong.

Well, I decided to try your suggestion out on the LS board since I'm an approved carrier. I set the parameters for what I need on Tuesday, hit the SEARCH tab, closed my eyes and pointed at the screen. This is what I got! LOL

Depends on what your parameters are I suppose. Also I’m pretty sure approved carrier rates aren’t the same as for LS bcos.

I see. I really don't use LS that often, maybe a cpl of times a year.

My average for instance this month, which some are saying has been pretty bad, is below. I've adjusted the spreadsheet as a cpl things, as usual, change throughout a work week.

This is through yesterday. I'm taking off until Monday and will get in a couple more in loads by the 31st. I operate strictly through brokers, most of which I do work for consistently here in the PNW on the I-5 with a dry van. As is clear, I'm kind of lazy and don't work too hard, I especially value being at home often. So the whole, "your truck is a rolling office...go where the rates are hot" doesn't work for me.

Are you saying that LS BCO's rates (after % taken out) for a dry van doing what I do are higher on average than this?
