    I work with a smaller company and was able to buy a 2019 cascadia and paid cash for a new Hyundai trailer last year. Landstar takes too much of your hard earned money and sacrifices

    Remember landstar accepts a load contract and takes money from it then makes a landstar contract for the smaller amount and posts it on their load board then takes 37% off that contract . You will never do well at landstar but they will help you servive too be able to fleece you more. When rates go up they put more in there pockets not yours

    Btw, adding trucks ain't no big deal. I could add trucks tomorrow if I wanted to. However, I have zero interest in doing that. I'm looking to retire in a few years, not to entangle myself with the head aches that come with running trucks.

    I keep saying that Schneider is the same as landstar and the other mega fleets , you will make a living but that's it . Smaller companies are better for much higher profits
