Btw.... after delivering that Costco load yesterday in coon rapids I saw a five guys across the street.
So since I had no Pre plan yet.. I walked over for dinner.
Never been and it's always compared to in n out which I like.
To make a good comparison, I got the same I get at in n out. 2 cheeseburgers with onions and no tomato, Fries, and large Chocolate shake.
Told the guy this was my first time and see what the hype was.
Told him it wasn't looking good due to there being only 4 other people there. In n out would be packed.
He rd me the price and it got worse. 24 freaking dollars. 14 dollars at in n out
So in n out wins by a landslide for me.
I just walked out after cancelling the order

It’s just hype on that place, I went to my first one recently and it was just another hamburger. In and Out just like a Sonic burger to me too.JOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this.

I've never been to Five Guys, but I'm sure I do not like either Sonic or In and Out.

Planners are such strange creatures.
I was sent a pplan this evening to pick up a Costco load at 1330 tomorrow, 70 miles away, delivering at 2130 that night about 350 miles away.
I have 370 miles to go for my delivery tomorrow and my PTA is set at 1430 with 4 hours remaining to drive.
I did not even respond to it. -
There were better choices of loads this morning with the mac 30. I'll be headed to MO, once I find an mt.
That was lucky though, that TJMax refused to give me one. I was able to bobtail to the Pilot for the night, and it was already packed when I got here at 1530. It was easy being bobtail.
Just north of Atlanta, GA on I-85.
My next load was supposed to pick up this evening, but they gave me until 0800 tomorrow. I'll just have to be driving by 0530 to get that mt to get there on time. -
Rochelle il terminal.
Left the Petro at 0400 this morning to go to my delivery in Hammond in. Took just u.der 4 hrs to go 196 miles. Alot of traffic and construction going thru chicago.
Picked this load up in Elwood il. And it's a high value load. Only had 2.5 hrs left. Called dl and he said to come here for the night.
Going to the inner grove Mn terminal to tcall. Hopefully the traffic is better. Only have 7 hrs 40.mins. on my 70 for tomorrow
360 miles to inner grove from here. -
There is a 'v' in there.
Inver Grove Heights.
I didn't even know we had a terminal in Rochelle.
From Rochelle it is an easy drive. And being a Saturday the traffic should be pretty light all the way in.
Good luck at the terminal. That place can get VERY crowded on the weekend. It can be as bad as Denver or Decatur. -
It's an legacy Central terminal.Moosetek13 Thanks this.

It’s a very small terminal. They can do orientation and LCQ but they don’t do Winter SIM. Used to be in Rochelle every week for the Tyson and Americold load - backhaul for Walmart. Petro and Pilot gets full really quick during Winter. The normal temperature there during winter is -5 degrees. Don’t miss it but good times.

In Rochelle, park at Petro or the dirt lot next to Tyson, where all the Swift’s are hiding.
