I would have thought fuel hauling would pay more than 28 a hour with full bennies
-
It does but you probably ain't getting that right out of the gate. Got to earn those stripes first.REO6205 Thanks this.

Any idea what the general pay rate would be in southern Utah. Cedar City area most likely.
I got about 9 years fuel hauling experience in ND. I’m paid mileage/load here. Generally make $30-$40 hour here
I assume I wouldn’t make as much down there, but I’m a huge outdoors person so part of me would like to get out of here. I have a nice house here and make a nice yearly gross so it would be a huge decision if I ever decided to make the leap
I saw a job in cedar city listed a few weeks ago with Jackson Energy. Said competitive pay, but never actually said what the pay wasWoodys Thanks this. -
Are the dakotas not a good place for outdoorsmen? I figured all those big open states would have some big game hunting or something? -
Yea there’s a lot of hunting here. When I said outdoors, I meant mostly hiking. I do hike the badlands here quite a bit spring through fall, but that gets old too. I make the 5 hour drive to the mountains in Montana 3 or 4 times per summer and those hikes are the highlight of my year
I figure living in southern Utah, I would be a short drive away from about 5 or 6 national parks and be in heaven for a hiker. Just don’t know if i would really be happier or not taking a huge pay cut -
Come to wa state
You could make $30+ hr to haul fuel here -
Eastern Washington
There alot of fuel haulers that make $25 up. This state has alot of outdoor activities for you to doAir Cooled Thanks this. -
