You might get lucky and just need inj. cups. I would recommend doing this sooner than later!

Might be a good idea to do the bottle/bubble test on it. Could be a headgasket seeping.

How many miles are on the 5ek? Has the head ever been off?

Yes Snowman, probably should do bottle test first. Just put overflow line into a jug of clear water. Look for bubbles. The idea of using block heater is to simulate heat. Pull injectors out, by that time its cold. Psi test and look for leaks in cups, if you don't find one, plug it in over night and check in am. Normally I would pull the oil pan for this so I can look up at liners in am.

Had a fun day yesterday. Trailer was having issues holding air in the suspension in the morning. Got out of the yard by 10:30.

Delivered in Thief River Falls, MN then reload out of Red Lake Falls, MN. Bunch of wood stoves and a few pallets. Load info said no tarp, I've seen those loads before, I know they are no tarp. Show up and they want the pallets (glorified boxes on skids) tarped. They are also leaving right away (delay made me show up at the end of the day) so they can't help.

Here I am in the rain, tarping 4 skids of all different heights with a 25x26' lumber tarp because I would have brought a small enough smoke tarp to do the job properly if I had known.

Ugh... then off to Pembina, ND to pick up a Sellick S80 forklift, but due to delays, I got to load it myself. Slow roll into the step deck, but got er done. Came with a set of extra Forks, so I had to choke chain those to the others.

Then cross back into Canada before midnight because the load was only cleared for yesterday! Yay!

Made it back to the yard around 10pm. My wife was kind enough to come pick me up so I wouldn't have to stay in the truck in the yard overnight for a day off.

No pictures because I was exhausted and forgot.

Time to go drop some aerospace stuff in El Paso...

I have my Mexican translation sheet on hand...

When in doubt, point at the freight, and say “vamonos!”

    ... I haven’t been in a fight, yet!

    :D:rolleyes:

Maybe maybe I’ll get to try that little taco shack @sawmill mentioned before going west... :)
