    My boss hired someone who had a lapsed CDL but got his permit back. He got the guy through his Road test, which took him 4 attempts. With everything my boss did for this individual after only 2 month of driving for him he is quitting and going to jb hunt. What a dope. That's not an upgrade. He will be gone 14 days home 2.

    I feel bad for my boss. He doesn't deserve this. I think the guy should stick around for a whole year. It's too bad no one has any dedication anymore. It's not that bad here and he is desperate for drivers right now.

    JB has more benefits?

    JB has better equipment?

    JB has more miles? maybe the guy wanted OTR, or dedicated accounts that JB DOES HAVE?

    JB paying him more? (i'd go for MORE MONEY as well...)

    your boss had a contract with that driver?

    you really should worry about you, but you seem to have a penchant to worry about your boss and everyone else.

    you really DO NOT KNOW the whole story (as usual), but feel free to complain about it.

    JB being known for many things, DOES HAVE what you say.....i know, there is a guy i met up with occasionally at the truck stop, when i go there for my roller dogs and coffee...

    he has a dedicated account, hauling cans, home daily, off weekends, regular hours (as regular as dedicated can be), and gets paid QUITE WELL.....

    That’s awful. He could have let him know it isn’t really for him. But put in at least some time to cover the bosses trouble.

    We had an entire class of four go to work for a local guy. He did OTR. Liquid fertilizer to farmers. He trained them. Then they all decided to quit. Lousy...
