    Did a marathon run yesterday. D6 LGP in the morning then blasted to crab orchard wv. And grabbed a 349 complete and screamed up the road a few hundred emptied a while ago. Wanted to load this morning but had to load yesterday afternoon. Gotta have it ! get there this morn......uh we didn't know this was coming in......FIGURES !

    Lol. I ran the cap loose for 3 weeks. Same result. About 1-1 1/2 gals coolant gone

    That sucks. Couple questions @cke .Do you notice any coolant coming out of the overflow much?

    Also, do you notice any grey or milky sludge in the blowby tube?

    Have you drained your air tanks lately to see of theres much water or any coolant in the wet tank?

    If you did get a little curious and wanted to see if the compressor is passing coolant, take the hot line (output line) off and see if its wet with coolant or alot of moisture in the line. Just something to consider, but 9 times outta 10, seems like your symptoms are headgasket/head related in my opinion.

    Seen alot of them year cats with a radial crack in liner.

    I was trying to beat the rain, starting to rain now. Second one almost dropped, rock truck next.

    Wonder if the block was counter bored and shimmed? Sometimes someone does them and doesnt get them cut square and straight and the liner wont last. End up with cracked flange, low liners and/or head gasket problems.
