a wise person once told me, in the end, it is all about yourself, take care of yourself and it should be your top priority

 

Leave the emotions at the door, the driver picked what was best for his/her family.

I don't think he owed ya company anything, to be honest.

Unfortunately there's a big chunk of this story missing i'd love to hear the other side of the story as well, yes perhaps he used your boss to get his CDL although you'd think he'd at least stay for 6 - 12 months minimum, so there must be something that made him want to leave.

 

I thought you talked in the past about your boss paying low wages, not keeping up the equipment, etc. I wouldn’t feel one bit sorry for him if that’s the case.

 

Every day, you see someone post about their rotten luck, things they're dealing with, mistakes they've made in the past, etc and challenges they face to get their CDL and find someone to hire them.
This driver, according to the original post...
-had previous CDL experience supposedly
-had to get it reinstated
-had to take 4 tries to pass a road test
-needed the boss to 'help him pass'

There's nothing about him that sounds like quality. Not one thing. Then he wants to quit and go to JB Hunt and the boss begs him. He's a loser. A loser that has someone begging him to stay.

This reminds me of women I've known in the past who have a guy that's "in between jobs." This one particular woman was working 2 full time jobs, to pay for her husband to go to school. Guess what he did when he got out of school (the college course he was taking)? 3 guesses. Can anyone tell me?

You KNEW he was a snake...why are you surprised about the snakebite?

One snakebite isn't enough for some people.

That would work the first day, maybe the first week. 2 months later? Pardon my mirth.
