Now Sheila's going " OMG. This is the best soup I've ever had."

My husband was just home for 4 whole days. The dogs were bouncing, squeaky toy killing bundles of happiness and joy. Beth, his truck dog, literally ran laps in the 1 acre fenced yard for 30 minutes straight and collapsed on our bed to sleep.

We walked dogs, had friends over for dinner and a game of Cards Against Humanity, he fixed my manure cart at the barn and spent two hours bathing his favorite horse. Basically a nice long weekend and I sent him back down the road yesterday with containers of brownies, chocolate chip cookies, homemade lasagne, home made bread and fancy prosciutto.

Day 8 of hometime this time so far.

I think they may have grown tired of the Dave chew toy, as all the stuff is done, paperwork, compliance wise, I think.

    I have like 3 " I just need this " e mails, after the original " I just need this " e mail.

Once again, I feel as though the operations manager is getting over on me.

Kitty is full of wind, piss, and excitement this morning, and my hand looks like I've been picking rasberries all week.

Better to be doing it at home than in the truck. I can't find anything and am constantly mumbling..gotta get organized and then...ding! Another hurry up load comes through.

Oh there's no way you could do this and be moving, Way too many people and organizations involved. And it's a specific sequence of events. And people make mistakes, or it's not on the correct form, or the email didn't go through. Stuff has to be printed, signed scanned. It's seriously mind boggling. The only way is to have it all set up 100% bulletproof. This is 5 full business days of process from making the deal to having it assigned and cleared to the fleet.

I don't think so. Spent A LOT of money, but none at the casino, on cat women, or sexy witches.
