I cant see giving up the room in my already narrow cab for 2 more sticks with way more elevation than needed when a couple of knob mounted air switches will do the same thing.
I own a truck with a spicer 6 and 4 set up. High gear in both is against the dash. Both are factory height with plain ol red Peterbilt knobs with gold flake. No fancy knife handles or pistol grips lmao.
You want sticks? Get a real set not a toy set. -
I own a few trucks with the old 5&4, 4&4, and 6&4. My gear shifters are not that tall in my three stick truck. I think the extensions that high are a mess, it is like having super tall ape hangers on your Harley. I put in three sticks in my show truck for the look, not to be cool. Though i am super cool lol. I love the old school trucks, as this is why my fleet is comprised of 1995-2001 Peterbilt 379 extended hoods, 18 speed transmissions with 650-750 H.P Caterpillar engines. I own three trucks with two stick transmissions.

The twin sticker in my Avatar was a very easy to shift and sure as heck no hooking steering with with elbow but I would never go out of my way for one. OP not impressing anyone but himself. Twin stickers although common were not the only choice,,,'61 White Mustang bone stock, tricky without a traditional steering wheel

There was and really still is an advantage to 2 sticks, but They were not made for the torque we now run, and some parts are starting to get hard to find for them.
