ICE won't help illegals

After a few divisive opinions, this thread will close. It's a well known fact that truckers have an issue with illegal immigration, even if they are trying to flee from violence and famine. I've said it in other threads about this topic, if the tables were turned, we would be doing the same thing.

 

If we are to pay to get them anywhere it should be back across the border.

Enter legally or be deported. Pretty simple plan.

 

Who is trying to wait years for legal immigration when one is trying to escape violence, poverty, or famine? I know if I were in there shoes, I'd take my chances. Anything would be an upgrade over those situations. Yes they broke the law, but I do get it

 

I don't care.

We are a land of law. If you want to enter as a criminal you should be treated as such. It is a slap in the face to every legal immigrant to allow criminals any tax payer money beyond what it takes to correct their illegal action.

 

They aren't necessarily criminals though. You're making a pretty broad statement there. And do they not come over here and make their own money? They aren't getting any handouts or any type of love that people seem to think...are you telling me that if you're in survival mode like many if these folks are, you would go through the decade long protocol to migrate?

 

Sorry, but the very act of crossing our border illegal is a CRIMINAL offense. Period. Even US citizens must enter the country legally in the appropriate fashion. The previous lack of criminal history by an illegal alien does not negate the crime of entering a sovereign nation illegally.
