I can just feel the 60 degrees on my face in this picture...

...instead I gotta deal with the mid 90s down here in the valley of SoCal...

Sigh I should get a motel for the next two nights me thinks

20181027_191633.jpg Finally got all but 3 studs out. Got the 3 broken studs drilled through letting then soak tonight with pb blaster. Hopefully spin them out tomorrow with easy out. If not drill heilycoil and glue back together..........did i mention how much I hate an acert.....sandwiched in a dang petercar !!!! Oh and the head is in rough shape where the gaskets lay. Lots of rust not to flat of surface. This truck lived most of its life running from Chicago to the northeast. Road chemicals have it all ate up !

Six I figured you to be the type that would just toss a rats tail out of his eggs and continue on. Like I might.

I’m thinking about finally sucking up to the misses and getting a microwave for the prostar.

I #####ed and moaned that I didn’t have room at the house... but I think I’ll finally strap it to the counter behind my seat and deal with it...

I like to get out of the truck still once a month, normally on a 34, like I’m doing now...

But I could probably save costs on food elsewhere...

    Forget cost

    The eating is just better

As you move into oversize crap - it will be harder to get to the crappy Truckstop food anyway

I was told by a mechanic friend that caterpillars tend to break easily when removing the manifold. When we put the full tilt on the ISX, only one bolt broke the head off, still came right out.

It’s not that I eat crap, per se...

But I do eat out more than I’d like.

You ever get home from work after working all day Saturday and just want to get a shower and veg on the couch and watch some football because your working Sunday too, but the wife/girlfriend keeps asking you to do "things" that requires you to get up off of said couch and won't leave you alone?

    Just wondering
