Went over to the Wasatch corrals today and moved four loads of cows from there to the Castle Rock corrals, only about 9 miles by road. Did it as kind of a favor for my wife's dad and his boss, the ranch manager, since it's their personal herd and not ranch cows.

The payoff? "Pick one of the open heifers out and we'll send her to the butcher on Monday. Just call and tell them how you want it cut and wrapped."

Seems like a good deal for four hours of work.

 

Correct, I forgot about those! Most people get overwhelmed by all the turbo plumbing but once you realize you can leave most of it together without separating all the pipes/bellows/housings it becomes much easier. Once you work on a few shoved in a Freightliner Columbia you question your career choices! LOL

 

After leaving the job around 6 this evening, I ran and got Food for Dinner the next couple nights

Got back to the House and prepped the Package of Chicken Wings and the GF's Salmon. There was 17 Wings in the Package and I get this "who's going to eat all of them" comment and I said me

So she bets me $20 that won't happen. ...got another $20 in my pocket

It’s a good thing I’m as skinny as a rail. Don’t believe me? Ask @ShooterK2 . I could use to gain a few pounds or two...

And I eat some dang food during meal times. Got that fast metabolism. I’ll be on here looking for diet advice when it stops working so hard in ten years...

I ain’t a betting type.. although I could out eat a good chunk of you... except maybe Ruthless, or Wore, or Super...

 

Mine was that way until about 28 or so

 

I’m dreading the month it stops and I gotta act like I know what a balanced diet is...

Thankfully I spent a few years as a chef so I won’t be totally lost.

 

My diet up until last year consisted of bud light, chicken wings, and Copenhagen. I got rid of the dip and got fat.
