In my opinion, yeah....it is. For catching wind anyway

 

Unfortunately those two old truck stops have closed down, and there are a number of businesses in the old B E plant. As you mentioned Garret is no longer, and I don't recall what is in there now. The building still has the Garret sign on it though. The Cat dealer, which was next to Garret has built a new facility on the interstate South of town also.

It's not that I ever had problems on the far side of the river, it just had a different feel to it. Kinda like I shoulda had a passport or something. Learning Los Angeles was bad enough.

 

I didn’t realize Bucyrus Erie had a plant out there.

There is an old railroad trestle near Culdesac Idaho that was used in an old Charles Bronson movie; Breakheart Pass maybe?

 

Cat Rental store in Jackson, WY just got a new one with a Stellar bed. Looks really nice!
I think they said 45k for the regular cab F550 and 65k for the bed not including the welder.

 

I know that same feeling I was crossing back to "our" side
