I watched that show off and on, always thought they acted like a bunch of jerks. Rick was the only one I could stand.

Well having been immersed in that industry for several years I learned a lot about people and especially TV people vs Real people. I had several interactions with the crew from OCC and have some "thoughts" on them. The old man was really a pretty grounded and down to earth guy in person. Mikey was the exact same in person as he was on the TV show, carefree, clueless class clown. Jr on the other hand was a first class Effing Richard Cranium. When he walked into a room, onto a show floor etc he expected and demanded that the world bow down to him. Remember hearing about the entourage that followed Mike Tyson around including the guy who was his "hype" man, there to just tell him how awesome he is 24/7. Junior had a whole crew of those cling-on's he carried with him everywhere.

They did a fantastic job of building a TV Show brand but once the allure of the show wore off people forgot about them just as quickly as they became famous. In the end, the muti-million dollar empire they built was supported 110% by the fame of the TV show and just as soon as the show was gone, the lines outside the mother-ship in NY dried up and suddenly no one was buying the kitch that paid the bills, the doors were locked, the bankruptcy court owned everything and people started asking "Junior Who". I've heard Senior went back to doing ornamental iron which is where the whole thing started and as for the rest of the crew, I think they're still making rounds on other TV shows albeit without the level of viewers OCC had. There are many in the bike industry that have "gone back" since the OCC WCC era came to an end. I know one who is back to sleeping bags and lanterns (Sheldon Coleman of Big Dog Motorcycles), a powder coating company for another and a hardware supply company for another.

The "founders" of the revolution that segwayed into bikes from something else had something to go back on, The ones who became stars for the sole purpose of motorcycles are now doing commentary on those TV shows that use washed up one-hit-wonders with no career left.

No Sir.... wish I had though. If memory is correct this truck ran a 12V71 under the hood.
