Where is everyone #5

What a day. Was headed for the Oregon Coast when we had a flat tire. Inside sidewall was torn up. Change to the spare and get 5 miles down the road, and it goes flat also. Inside torn up as well. Sat for two hours while the tow truck found us. Found that Costco was the only tire shop open on a Sunday. Ended up with 2 new tires. Turns out a back tire also had a large cut in the sidewall. Not sure what caused it.

 

Going through my library of info from years past and found something that may interest the younger viewers.... ??

Many here know my dad retired from a International Harvester dealer after years of service, this is from a book given to me from the owner after the doors closed permanently.

 

I knew Sr had worked for a living unlike Jr, it’s interesting to see the mighty fall.

 

Pops A model Kenworth used the same brake setup with torsion bar suspension, was a good old truck.

 

You've had a fun filled time at home it looks like, well deserved!

Sorry about your loss @catalinaflyer . Glad that it wasn't a unexpected loss though. It helps to know what is coming a lot in my experience.
