This year I bought 1 pale of Chevron for $283 I was in a bind. Then a buddy brought me a pale of Gulf from his salesman for $137. Both 50w synthetic trans oil, meeting Eaton Spec. Now I am experimenting with Royal Purple in rears. No issues at 200k, no exciting news except wallet is $800 lighter. Dont think I will do that again.

Thanks fellas. Bout what I was expecting. We been using it for years, just never heard anyone else mention it. Wanted to make sure there wasn’t something I need to know before I dump it in this new trans.

Yes, I worked yesterday, actually worked. Moved another local super-load, went and loaded a JCB rough terrain in a connie, dropped it back at the yard, grabbed and open stretch flat, went to Acworth and picked up some brass, practiced my legal size load tarping then ended the day in Meridian, MS when my 14 ran out. 650 miles for the day, so yes, yes I did work a little bit.

As soon as the box says I can roll I'll knock out the last 500 miles to DFW then be off for a few days while I move into my new place. Boss has already been calling asking if I'll for sure be ready to go on Monday so I see more work coming.

Forgive the sound quality, its low.

I remember watching this in the early 90s on CMT. Man I always though that black 379 was baaaaad. Kinda nostalgic now looking back on it. Stock mufflers, BUDD wheels, Mechanical CAT or Cummins, tall rubber. Driving across Hoover Dam.no cell phones, no internet.....and you could stop along side the highway and help someone without getting killed, well usually. 3:08. And yeah, she was hot.

Guess it’s time to put her in the wind...

Got a fuel stop up the ways and then we see how far I can get to the border with Oregon?

New trans is in. Vibration is still there. Looking at other stuff now. You guys that run AG400 suspension, do you set ride height at 8.5” from bottom of frame to center of axle?
