I'm not sure which bracket you've got on the rearend where the leveling valve rod bolts, but theres a couple different style. I have 4 or 5 adjustment holes I can bolt the leveling rod to to set ride height.
I'm in the top hole on mine. Measures around 9 on mine when loaded. Sorry, I know that's not much help Shooter

Better than what I got. MHC Kenworth says 10.5” but can’t tell me where to measure to and from.BigBob410, cke, Shock Therapy and 13 others Thank this.

And yes, measure bottom of frame rail to center of axle housing. That's how I been told is the correct way. That's how I do anyway

No he didn’t say loaded or empty but I didn’t ask either seeing as how he can’t even tell me where the measurement is to be taken. Lol.
U-joints feel good. Oil in rears looks good. I’m grasping straws chasing this vibration. Just knew the trans was gonna be the problem when we found that chipped gear.BigBob410, cke, Shock Therapy and 15 others Thank this. -
And remember, the weld seam isnt necessarily the center of axle housing for measuring. Theres about a 3° tilt because the airbag perches weld to the housing .

Yeah I’ve always been told to measure front and rear welds and split the difference.BigBob410, cke, Shock Therapy and 14 others Thank this.

Nothing is worse than knowing you've found the problem, spent good money and time fixing it knowing how nice and smooth it's going to be only to have the exact same problem the minute you hit the road
BigBob410, cke, Shock Therapy and 17 others Thank this.
