Man I miss running out there

 

Ugh... Still have coolant leaks. Barely made it to Tisdale. Low water light came on about 5 minutes out of town. Pulled into the lot and saw smoke coming from the rad, immediately shut her off and called after hours service.

Getting service tomorrow morning at the CAT shop down the street, staying in a hotel for the night (have I ever said how much I love working for my company?).

Have a really bad feeling I cooked something getting into town. I feel terrible for the truck. She's been so reliable for the last year.

I've got coolant leaks under the sleeper (even turning the tap off, it was still leaking), from behind the turbos, and off a hose under the motor going to the rad. Poor girl.

 

I should have it by thanksgiving I hope. I’ll be running lots of Washington and Oregon. Even Cali now and again

 

How hot did it get and for how long?

Well those are big shoes for you to fill @wore out also has some classic ride. Yours is a work In progress, till we find you a suitable ride and possible numbers to ride under.

Like the rest of us, parking a 65' and longer inside any restaurant parking lot is difficult at best. We also have @truckdad is over by Donner pass on i-80. I have some extended valley coverage. And being able to "grub hub" I can deliver with beer also. Lol


Just know the area real well to drive outlaw inside Cali. I love the scenic routes. @wore out enjoyed his scenic route., and I'm hoping to get "Mable" out here also one of these days.

So if ya need a break in the middle of Cali I got it covered. Hell I can even park a 11 axle at the warehouse. Lol
