Update: motor is pissing coolant from several places, not sure why, but she's staying in Tisdale till Monday to get fixed. Mechanic said it doesn't look or seem like any engine damage was done from his cursory glance at it.

I'm getting picked up by another driver on about an hour. Since I'm needed for next week, they are doing me another solid and putting me in the backup bulk truck for next week, and having another driver come pick mine up when it's repaired.

Wear pants and boots speak English and they are begging ya to come work for them.

I stopped at a client pickup, manager is asking me all these questions.

You have a class A?
How's your MVR?
You seem to know a lot about our product.
Why are you working for this person and not on your own.?
What would you charge?

Lol

Only to be belittled by everyone working the dock. Joyous Friday...

 

So you're saying that they didn't do a good enough job belittling you, so you came over here to get the job done by us Professionals ?

 

Yea that might darken your toast. I'm guessing you lost coolant so no coolant temp by the time it got that hot?

 

Exactly what I’m saying.

Blindside back. Wide Quikdraw Step. Office windows on the end of your trailer. Weird slope that you can’t hop so you’re left to basically 90 it. No pull forward room. Bunch of kids working the dock that would’ve had it in the hole in 30 seconds.

I think I did alright considering it’s my first delivery with this wagon and I’m STILL used to a spread...

 

Well, not what I was hoping for, no enjoyment at all in hauling these...



Plus... my fuel filter gauge just jumped to 5 IN HG at low idle, figures when pressed for time.

 

Learned the martial art of forklift-## at a young age. Drove fork lifts and tractors before I ever drove a car.

 

Yep! Non union ltl kid said "man do you have to tarp everything, cause I would hate that". I said its good exercise plus its worth it. "Yah what do you make?" I said I dont normally tell anyone, but Ill clear over a grand. "Oh I make that!" I just ask will make that today? Got my free coffee and walked out. He said nothing. I waved. Nice experience lol.

 

We changed our TV supply, now I cant even turn this unit on
