Here is my update from abroad....

The Canadian army was not entrenched at the border and i was able to cross into the great white north without incident.

On the other truck from the dealer will be covering the cost of the engine replacement...painful for them but i applaud their decision- even if it was a reluctant one. Hard to swallow $30-50k depending on estimates.

    So...........shame on me.

This fits under the category "Things I've seen me do".

Unloaded the haul truck yesterday at the Cat house, hooked back up, and went inside to get some filters.

Walked back to the truck, fired it up, and headed home.

Heading out of town and noticed a vibration that wasn't there before. I got to concentrating on the vibration, playing with rpms and load to try to isolate the condition, and worrying. In the back of my mind was the thought that the road sure seemed rough as well.

Finally about ten miles later it dawned on me.....you guessed it, forgot to air up the suspension.

Sometimes I wonder how I have lived this long doing such stupid stuff.
