Prime Inc. has their own cdl school.
Prime Inc. is ok to get the career started. I think they still do just urine drug test. If you're a hard worker, can make a good living there; much more than you're making now for sure. Prime has refrigerated, tankers, flatbed.

You should check into Income Based Repayment programs (IBR) for those student loans. My Wife has student loans that would be about $280 per month. Even with our income (about 60k per year) her student loan has been $0 per month for about the last 5 years. It is a government program but should be administered by whoever holds your loan. Very much worth checking into. Best wishes to you!

Isn't IBR just for federal loans?

 

I think so. I'm no expert on the subject. My Wife's student loans were Federal loans.

 

Better ask companies about your license. Usually, your license will have to match your address. Unless it's changed, a trucking company school like Prime, you'll graduate with a Missouri cdl, then take that and the paperwork back to your home state and have the Missouri cdl switched to Florida or Illinois, whichever you want.
Ask the companies you're interested in about that.
If you go to FFE, use your Chicago address. You'll graduate with a Illinois cdl.
