If you are talking about Harris Ranch, it is very good. They have a lil airstrip I used to fly into. As an easterner, try something Tri-tip, it is a California beef specialty.

I may be an odd-one out on this but peaches with a sprinkle of brown sugar goes really good on top of salmon.
