    More than 15 over.

    That's even worse.

Dave said it right, you were doing ok until you mentioned the ticket for being 15 over.

You will not be hireable for a while. Then you will be hired on by someone. When you do, DO NOT SPEED.

Whatever it is that caused to speed, FIX. IT. TODAY. With a CDL in your pocket you cannot speed. You would find it worthless to you if you keep getting speeding tickets.

If anyone here knows about speeding it will be me. (And the Maryland State Police..) but you have to fix it. And don't speed anymore. If your area speeds all over everywhere and you speed with them that's even worse. Stop it.

TTR is a place that will give you some love. But it might be served a touch chilly at times. Ultimately we want you to enjoy trucking and not be a speeding doofus soon to be unemployed and ... writing on TTR why they cannot get a trucking job anymore after a couple of tickets.

Been there done that. Don’t, I repeat, DONT, let your CDL show a suspension. Face up to your child support duties. Don’t be a dead beat dad. It’s gonna bite you on the butt later.

Didn’t mean it directly to you. Just saying, don’t let your CDL show a suspension....... it just makes it harder if your looking for a job.

Also, I had gotten pull over in my 4 wheeler one early morning while commuting to get me truck, I got pulled over for a burned out headlight and speeding. I try to get out of it and explain everything to the cop. The cop said I will be right back, he comes back with just a speeding citation and told me, if a suspension wouldn’t have been on my drivers license, he would of cut me a break.

Others have posted they were hired, even with a child support suspension on their record.
Might have to go with a second chance company, but some of those aren't so bad either.
Which company are you with now?

I'm sorry but your post makes absolutely no sense to me. First it is a MYTH that a 15+ over ticket disqualifies you. Your record can handle this charge at least one time. With carriers scraping the bottom of the barrel in regard to drivers like they have these last 4 or 5 years I am shocked no one gave you a job offer. Next point, what have you been doing these last 3 years? If you have not been driving and this can be verified now you have this serious ticket followed by a long gap, AND that administrative suspension. If I were the one making an employment decision on you and I could afford to be somewhat selective I would not hire you. However because most carriers are desperate for warm bodies they will give you serious consideration. Now with that all said, do you see how one thing can lead to another? Once you start digging that hole it almost takes an act of Congress to not only stop the digging but then get out. I do wish you good luck. Even though my comments were direct I did not mean them to be malicious. Trucking is hard enough as it is. People have got to understand that this industry is a highly regulated one. Drivers sometime seem to think these regulations are a game. Child support obligations are not either. Best way i know of to get deep in that hole is to forget either one!

How my post didn’t make sense the reason why I couldn’t get hired on to a company is because of my speeding ticket they told me it had to be 3yrs until they could work with me secondly my MVR has suspended license due to child support that why I ask was it a moving violation
