    Iowa 80 is insanely overpriced, but they do have a lot of hard to find items. For basic supplies your best bet is Amazon.

    Yes they are expensive... But have almost everything a driver could ever dream of needing under 1 roof... And can almost always guarantee a parking spot.

    Thanks for all the retailer suggestions. There are thousands of items available out there to help a driver out which gives a new driver like myself a sigh of relief.
    I just received my learners permit card in the mail so a physical and some last minute family planning and I am ready to set a date with a company. I have decided on CFI. Doing this at my age (44) may seem crazy to some people but it is time for a new chapter in my life and OTR is a long awaited and welcomed lifestyle for me. I plan on documenting my company training experience on here daily once it starts. The threads I read of the people doing that was very helpful for me in making my decisions to do this and will do my best to share my experience for others that are researching the profession.
