Now here are some after images... I still need to polish the wheels. Now it’s in the shop getting some engine work done.

We ended up becoming best of friends and he still owns the boat
I was picking over the paint job last year and was shocked how nice it still looked for how hard both he and I beat the boat.
Paint job wasn’t too shabby for a 19 year old kid painting it in the garage in the winter either. No Runs and very little orange peel all done with a Old Devilbliss siphon gun.
Did my buddies 43 sailboat from bare fiberglass a few years ago bottom of keel to the top deck
A lot of prep -
Being from SW Florida the last 33 years all I can se is light colors for any truck or vehicle. Only thing that holds up even though I hate white but my last 3 personal vehicles been white
For my International I am thinking of cleaning up the fenders and the top of the sleeper with some silver trim for now. Something quick and easy , since the rest of the original paint is nice yet
For a Future repaint I am thinking light metallic blue with a light Mercedes silver for a trim color. I want to replicate a nice classic scheme if I can find one I like

Trying to think of the brand of paint we used on my buddies boat. We did it at his buddies boatyard and he highly recommended the brand. As good as Awlgrip but about half the price. -
Yea I actually got my truck painted in Philadelphia PA at the Maaco. I did have a guy lined up in Fontana CA but the way things went I ended up going to PA.

Before I bought my Freightliner cascadia evo I did Dyno test, checked frame checked under everything looked good checked history of the truck drove it home from GA to Cali on the way home it was raining it started to leak inside I thought it was marker lights nope not that checked windshield not that ether so I took the headliner apart as I was taking the drivet side top panels off I noticed that the truck was damaged by branch or tree of some kind the previous company or whoever owned it had repair the outside but did not do a good job with fixing the roof paint job looks good but not fiberglass fix so I send it down bought a putty already mixed with fiberglass filled in all cracks and just primer with same color did not send down anything just primer over with same color as I don't care for now I'm going to repaint and fix it later it did stop the leak. do I need to also fixed it inside the truck where damage is cuz they did not fix it cuz I heard over time on top of the roof where I Bondo will crack again do to vibration is that true and one other thing should I call the dealership I bought it from and tell them to pay for fixing everything that was damaged previously they told me it was never damaged
