please tell me this isn't actually a question. We aren't actually to the point where people don't know what a vent window is for are we?MartinFromBC Thanks this.

Off subject some. I spoke to a 16 year old girl several years ago that was gobsmacked to learn that you could get a local TV station over the air for FREE!homeskillet and 06driver Thank this.

How 'bout the new driver who couldn't find the dipstick because it said 7l0 on the knob?Blackshack46, tucker and 06driver Thank this.

I had one like that. I try to get my manager or assistant manager to do these things because I am getting too pissed off at some of the stupidity I run into.
I had one who did a brake test for me, he did everything he could to get air down to nothing when the truck was turned off. I asked him "do you hear a buzzer?" He said "no I turned the truck off so I didn't have to".
Another I had hitch up a trailer (thank got it was light) and he forgot to hook up the air lines and in all the confusion of trying to figure out why the trailer didn't move, he released the fifth wheel. So he got back into the truck and pulled away ... BOOM!! the trailer went and so did he out the gate as soon as he stopped the truck, I was not going to hire the guy. OH and he had claimed that he had 9 years of OTR. -
How about the guy that went around bumping the tires and bumped the steering tires, too? I saw this in a truckstop. I asked why he did that and he said that in school they told them to bump all the tires.MartinFromBC and LoSt_AgAiN Thank this. -
I do that you're walking around having the days last cigarette, you kick all the tires, including the steers and the two on the tag, it'll tell you if they're below 90psi.
-
I kick the steers, too. It's my ONLY "OCD" thing.......I don't feel right if I don't do it.REO6205 Thanks this.
-
