The inverters are 1800 watt, but I think that is a peak rating not constant output. I had a little 900 watt microwave that I used daily. I had to have the engine running with the rpms close to 1000 or the inverter would beep at me if the microwave was on. I wouldnt dare run it with the engine off.

I also had a little george forman knockoff grill on the truck for a while. There is no way the inverter could power both. First time I tried, the inverter shutdown and I had to hit the reset button.

 

@Redtwin is correct. You'll need the engine running for the microwave. I have a 900 watt microwave I bought from walmart. I only use it while the truck is running. However, with engine off, I can power my playstation 4, tv, Nintendo 64, while my phone and headset are on charge. Plus my fridge is on all the time also. I also leave my GPS plugged in all the time too. No problems so far

Smaller than a quarter, you can gey it repaired, otherwise it will probably spread. I was able to catch one early, got it fixed at West Memphis.

But it's so fun...lol. I'll be glad when the 20th gets here. That'll make 6 weeks that I've been out, and I'm taking the whole week of Thanksgiving off.

 

Took the day off yesterday to do my civic doody and participate in what passes for democracy around these parts. Now I'm back in the truck for six weeks so I can have a couple weeks off (accumulated time off + vacation time) around Christmas with my kids. Next stop, December 20th!

 

That's my plan two.
Going to check if Abilene ((Joe) gave the ok for Volvo to replace the windshield; it has about one foot curved crack and stretching every time I hit the road.

 

I think I chuckled over this for 300 miles. Good to see at least one provisioner keepin' it real.
