SRT has been plaqued with driver issues at least from the time back when the owner Tony Smith made a deal with The Covenant Transport Group.

Yeah I know mjd4277 I sure thought this company was really trying to turn things around. So anyway I decided to lease as i'm not too found of forced dispatch. Needless to say after declining a few loads I was ordered back to Texarkana to clear the air! witch any experienced driver knows what that means.
-
So what are you gonna do now?
-
mjd4277 I have moved on somewhere else. See how USXL goes.

Hahahahaha
Welcome to the club OP. They reeled me back in (many years ago) with all their talk of change.
It lasted 2 weeks. -
Companies like SRT are like dealing with a “black sheep” relative at a party.
They may be okay right now but down the line I wouldn’t leave them alone with the kids...
Or the family pets....

In the meantime the lawyers will continue to get paid..

SRT seems so good to some but reading this forum seems like they are hated and are horrible. I started out with Prime and got my CDL. I left in May 2018 for a family emergency and now I’m wanting to go back in the industry but trying to find where I should go. I have 11 months experience. Just wondering if I should just get with SRT and stick it out to get more experience or should I try a different company?

Look. Every company will have its own issues. Yes SRT screwed up in the past and quite likely they will continue to screw up but the experience is yours. I've been with them for a year and a half and I've seen up and down since last year. However on top of all of that, my dispatcher is one of the better ones. I've never had a problem with miles nor have I had a problem getting home. Right now I'm on home time but I get my dispatches early due to the communication I have with the fleet I'm on. Thanks to them I've ended up with a new car, a better home and I can get my spouse the things she deserves. I've never been broke and have even been able to reach back and help my ailing mother as well. By the way, I'm a company driver.
Now all of that being said, keep this in mind. There is no perfect company. If there were, people wouldn't leave the industry and this side of TTR wouldn't need to be. I'm not promoting SRT but if you need to know my situation, look up the thread SRT: My Road So Far. That's written by me and I was as honest as I could be. I just haven't said much because I'm about to do a year in Review so everyone can see my experience. Everyone's experience is different.
Oink, oink
