I'm looking into hauling crude...but as a company driver. It's very inspiring to see your numbers, thanks.
-
Both. Of course sometimes you reject it.Crude Truckin' Thanks this.
-
Ah ok. We used to go buy it in front of the driver so we could haul oil faster. Just curious.

I've been thinking about getting on with Gibson but don't know much as to how well they pay their OO's, only managed to talk with a company driver and he seemed to like it.Crude Truckin' Thanks this.

I always thought Gibson was like a lease purchase kinda deal. I could be wrong.FFL Trucker Thanks this.

You can lease from them or bring your own truck on. They do have some standards on the age of the truck, etc. Always best to contact the company and see what they allow you to bring on before you go out and purchase a truck.
Here is what Gibson was looking for last year...
The field will check to confirm the tractor being added is Gibson compliant – which are
- Truck must be year model year NO OLDER THAN 8 yrs
- Automatic Air Intake Shut off Valve and the copy of the Invoice showing proof of installation
- Truck must be governed at 65 and copy of the receipt for confirmation
- Hydraulic wet kit with (25 gpm flow at 3000 psi)
- Hydraulic Hoses from tractor to trailer.
- 1” pressure 1.25” return with quick connects on the trailer side.
- Minimum fifth wheel height of 52”
- 7 pin ISO cord with (top pin ground, center pin 50 amp 12V for centrifuge, bottom pin to back up light switch for alarm)
- Back Up Alarm on tractor

Man, they take all the fun out! Lol!Lepton1 Thanks this.

I hear the Automatic Air Intake Shut off Valve is very expensive to install and reports of drivers going down the road, activating the jakes and having the engine completely shut down in the middle of the highway. No thanks!Lepton1 and Crude Truckin' Thank this.
