I signed on to Voyager Nation in early 2018. I think I was most impressed with their communications - Jason was very responsive, not a bad guy to deal with. However, I never made much money so do not expect to gross much. Unfortunately, I had a driver who got to FL to deliver a load and decided not to. I was charged a late fee, load abandonment fee and I was not paid for the getting the load to FL from South Carolina (I think this was the state). The guy who picked up the load (delivery was 45 minutes away) was only paid $300 so they robbed us both.

2 weeks later I get an email that my lease is being terminated because I had a negative settlement(per contract I was supposed to be given a 2 week notice in writing). This was also conveniently the week of IFTA. Total was less than $900.00. So what was my escrow for? Speaking of escrow - when I asked for it to be released, I find out about a cargo claim that, at that point, was 4 months old. It was for a water leak for a trailer that I rented - so how is that my fault? After my 90 days, they settled the claim at my expense so I will not be getting my escrow returned. They did the same thing to the gentleman who picked up my abandoned load. He left and suddenly he has a cargo claim.

By the way, when I called to get a contact number for the owner, who is in the Tampa office almost every day, Mike Kazan, I was told that his information could not be given out. Really? Your company is not that big and it shows how much you care about your owner operators.

My advice is to go somewhere else if you want to make some good money and not be stiffed out of your escrow when you do part ways.

Any questions just send me a message.

Go to their fb page read reviews of one star because these are owner operators that got screwed. Five star reviews are office employees. Scroll down and look at how many drivers got screwed. O/O stay away or you will regret it. CROOKS.

Must be the revolving door crowd (disease of the industry that makes us all look bad) posting about their adventures in the business they don't belong.
I meet guys from Voyager all the time all over the country and not once I heard stories about them being ripped off. In quite a few years I've been here I even met people who are no longer with the company, and still haven't met anyone who was ripped-off or cheated.
I know I wouldn't work for the company who would do those things.
If you don't know how cargo claims, insurance deductible deposit, and business to business relationship works, stop kidding yourself, you don't have what it takes to be an Owner Operator and I know SWIFT is hiring steering wheel holders.
Enjoy the ride brothers and sisters.
P.S. Not running today, gotta go VOTE, and hopefully make a difference.

If the leak has a hole in the roof it is not an excessive wear, it's a dumb ### who doesn't know how to drive or some fat loser who can't get into the trailer to check it after every customer, where another dumb ### with a forklift punched the hole in the roof. How do I know? Well maybe I had a hole punched in the roof by crackhead forklift driver while unloading, and no, the company took care of this and dealt with customer later, because the professional driver "me" informed the dispatch immediately.
Screenshot picture with your own questions is not the position of the company.
By the way who was your dispatcher? I'll go ask about it.

You know, it's people like you that get on my nerves. And for your information, I have been in transportation since 2002 - a FedEx Ground contractor from 2002 - 2015.

Since when does having a trailer for less than 2 weeks constitute excessive wear and tear? As far as reading and understanding, pretty sure I got you beat. Wrong is wrong, whether you understand or agree. Who says I do not belong - maybe you don't seeing how ignorant you are with this posting.

I don't care how many owner operators you run into from Voyager Nation that have had no problems - that does not negate what happened to me.

These boards are here for a reason and so many times I see posters get the 3rd or get chastised for sharing their experiences. Who made your voice the reign of all reigns. To hell with you and your opinion!
