Actually, when you see 2 black strips on a snow covered road means its a blacktop road. LOL
Don't tell me about the midwest and northeast, I have all my 26 years here.

    Milr72 Thanks this.

Must not have 26 years in snow then because could have black ice. But oh well. You are right and everyone is wrong. Its not worth fighting you on this. Have a good day.

I have 26 years driving the midwest and north east spring, summer, fall and winter. Every winter since 1994.
Just because you see 2 dark strips does not mean black ice. And why do you think the other doesn't have it also?

You run 94 much? The pavement is white. Didn't say the highway was snow covered, because it wasn't. Only the wheel tracks were icy, because traffic had been driving on blowing snow all day. Everything else was bare pavement.

Now, I could have probably been a little clearer in my wording. You probably could have been a little better with your comprehension, and not been such an ##*****.

BTW, I don't think I know more than most, I know I know more. I don't say that as a boast, it just is the way it is. And when only a handful of trucks were seen staying away from the slick spots, it's pretty obvious something needs to be said!

But, like crappie said, have a nice day!

Not always. I've seen the ditch look like a parking lot whilst the road uncluttered. Roll on.
