Am I Being Unreasonable?

I really like your attitude of being so aggressive with them with accessorial pays but in this case it is an overreach imho. I look at it from my own perspective as I myself for a good reason or not, canceled on a few booked loads and never got any charge fee for doing this. The cancellations, in my opinion were done reasonably ahead of time...at least 24 hours except the one time when I broke down. The problem is when you already committed the truck and passed on some other opportunities to book something better, then they cancel and it is too late to rescue the situation. If that's the case then it may be justified. If it is just an opportunity to get extra money, meaning that you can still book a load later or on Monday, then it is too frivolous claim imo. I might be wrong but I myself will not request TONU unless the truck is moving towards a pick up location. Otherwise, I should expect to receive some fees when I cancel too.

On the other hand...
TONU is what it says. The truck is ordered and not used. It does not have to move. The fee is for that only.
Perhaps, in order to balance that they should come up with "Load Booked but NoTruck Availabe" fee, $150 standard fee.
