I’d rather have the truck with stacks than that stupidity there.
That looks like a variation on the loud Subarus with the dual outlet muffler that points slightly up.PoleCrusher, Tug Toy, cke and 15 others Thank this. -
Had a young female friend that called me one Sunday morning and told me about her sister, who she always complains about being so irresponsible, got locked up. It seems that she got drunk, got into an argument with her boyfriend, and beat him. Busted his lip, blacked his eye. She’s a big girl and he’s a little guy. Well, he fires back and cracks her in the side of the head. She calls the cops and the cops show up, look at her, look at him and hall her to jail. So, my friend, older sister, is going to bail her out of jail.
Leave her there.
“What? Why?”
Aren’t you the one that’s always complaining about her lack of responsibility? If she found her way in there, she can find her way out.
“You’re right, Six. Well, I guess I should go over to their apartment and get the furniture out...”
You are bound and determined to confront him, aren’t you?
“He hit my sister!”
Your sister hit him.
“But he’s a man!”
And that makes it okay.
“Well, no...”
You’re mindset is all wrong. BTW, if you go over there and anything happens, you’re the one that’s going to jail. And your ex husband will see you in the Busted paper and use this in the custody battle for your daughter. And the worse thing is, your sister will get out of jail, and she and her boyfriend will express their undying love and devotion and talk about how much they miss each other...and both of them will be mad at you.
(a few hours later)
“Six, you were right. He went and bailed her out of jail and they’re so much in love and both of them are made at me because I didn’t bail her out of jail.”
Anyway, many now think that it’s okay for females to attack and strike males. It’s a common thought perpetuated by the media.Al. Roper, PoleCrusher, Tug Toy and 18 others Thank this. -
In the mid 70's a buddy of mine had a '71 Fastback and he had put wide tires like that on the back. We would double date and as he was driving down the road whenever he'd hit a bump the fenders would rub the crap out of the tires. It's funny how we didn't give cars like that a second thought back then, abused the heck out of em, what some people wouldn't give to have that car now.
Around '77-'78 a guy from my high school called me, needed money and knew I had some because I worked 2 jobs back then and we lived in a small town so everybody knew everything about everybody. He had a '69 GTO, (not a Judge), said he'd take $650 for it. I had a pretty nice pickup back then and I wasn't necessarily a car guy so I said no thanks......Idiot!!! Oh Ok, I had it down this way for some reason. I saw the rail cars and thought, there isn't a yard on Sunnylane, lol.
That picture you took in the yard with your reflection in the mirror is VERY cool, meaning the shadows and lighting around you is very "bad ##* workin man".
Had the pleasure of a short chat with Shooter on the radio yesterday evening. It was dusk and I was going southbound and he was headed northbound on 35 with just the parking lights on lookin large. Good talkin with you Shooter!
We won! Upset em 28-22, a great game. We're heading to Thomas next Friday.PoleCrusher, Shock Therapy, Tug Toy and 15 others Thank this. -
In my cannonball day’s, I ran 345 series tires under a stock body car. Bought a set of forged wheels on EBay, rolled the fenders, and then took measurements. Had to modify the double a arm suspension and switch from a Mac strut to a coil over. Then I sent the wheels out to a guy named Eric Vaughn (Stockton Wheels recommended him) and he widened and balanced the wheels perfectly. It was a shoehorn fit, but it came out perfectly and allowed me to run the meats I needed to hook the tires when the turbos kicked in.
That mustang went out and bought the wrong offset wheels. It looks about as TPT as a girl walking around with her buttcheeks hanging out of her shorts. He’s not even running a wider tire. It’s about as low brow as putting a fart can muffler on a stock 90’s Honda Civic.
“What’s TPT mean, Six?”

Reminded me of a guy my sister dated in high school. His dad owned a salvage yard forever and he said he just wanted to cry thinking back on all the cars that went through his place that ended up crushed for pennies on the dollar compared to what they would have been worth if he had kept them.....and this was in the mid-80's.PoleCrusher, Shock Therapy, Tug Toy and 16 others Thank this.

I can not find Cliff's explanation why beer makes you smarter. The buffalo theory. It is the best.
