I agree for the most part but there are exceptions. My dad has a 98 9400 that’s always dirty inside, no garbage but it’s never seen a sweeper or armor all (which baffles me because he’s a clean person) but if that truck has the slightest problem it’s in the shop getting it fixed. It’s probably the most mechanically sound truck around.

I had a '71 also. Bought it in '78, paid $1500 for it. Black, stock 350, 8 track player, 6 speakers behind the seat, the afore mentioned Cragar's on it with the wide tires on the back, air ride monroe's (I don't know why they were on there), had a 3" black vinyl tufted pad on the bed that got some use, lol. That back window was perfectly angled BTW, lol. She wasn't bad but I sure thought she was as a 16 yr old.

My brother and I were going to school one winter morning and the fuse for the heater blew. I stopped at the parts store and got another fuse, the wrong size, and put it in. Heater worked great, started down the road again and the fuse was able to over come the short so the whole dash caught on fire, smoke rolling thru the vents, I was driving with my head out the window. Pulled into Whitley's DX and he came out and disconnected the battery, no more cool El Camino, lol.

Least they could do would be to put matching wheels on for that much money, N-14 and low miles or not.

 

Had a friend tell me how great a movie was. This is what I saw of the movie . I had no interest in seeing more.
