How much range do you need? :biggrin_2554: What size are your current tanks?

Twin 125s at 5.5 MPG gives you ~1300 miles (obviously, YMMV).

I have twin 110s, and while I would prefer 150s, they work well enough for me (so far, my record for filling without having run dry is 214 gal. There was no point watching the fuel gauge the last 150, or so, miles as the needle was stuck on "E"-for "Walk" :biggrin_25523:).

I would guess that by carrying extra you can avoid some fuel stops and get more creative with your logs,.....Just a guess....

Helps on the logs but runnin team i
ts not that critical. Mostly to run nonstop and round trip without fueling,,, it would also give more opportunity to buy the cheapest fuel

I suppose ill have to have it custom made,,,, but then dual or triple kegs might look cool

It dont matter normaly cant even fuel half the time without calling in the efs card nevr works. If it does your limited to the gals you can get. Might as well thru those tanks out.

Well keep in mind the more you add the closer you'll have to keep an eye ball on your weight. Fuel is heavy I've had several loads just with twin 100g tanks putting my steer over weight even with Freightliner being a lighter weight truck. These days customers are trying to cram everything they can on a load to save money. I had to complain to my company for a load that put me over 85,000lbs. and only had 1/4 tank of fuel.
