you could have been 1 hour early and dispatch wouldn't like it, cuz they didn't have you on another load yet.

god and me only know the amount of times years ago, i got a chewing for being too early, and had to sit for a load....

but then, i sat a few times when i was on time too...

    dispatchers.......they are never satisfied........

You sound delirious, lol. Running the az mountains and new mexico desert at night on no sleep causes one to see some strange things.

I find it harder these days to run between 2-6 although I do quite a bit. Ideally I run till about 2 or 3 am then sleep till I wake around 10 or noon. When I’m ready. Beats an alarm clock.Otherwise it’s 4 am delivery and naps between stops till I reload then run a few hrs and and sleep till whenever.A break for coffee and walk around maybe a small bite to eat. Coffee and a Hershey’s chocolate bar does wonders to help push through couple hrs.

dispatch is like that emotional black hole of a girlfriend we all had at one time or another. You can do everything, but it's forgotten one minute later and more more more will be the call.

With good work ethics night driving should be no problem.
When did we become the land of cupcakes?
