Whatever trailer you go with split load whenever you can. Much easier on an older trailer then belly loading.

Aluminum frame on that Great Dane? Seems a bit heavy if it is.
I recall scaling around 27K many moons ago with a Mack CH and a 48x96 Transcraft with a steel frame.jamespmack Thanks this. -
No, it's a combo. Steel frame and IIC bar with aluminum deck and cross members.jamespmack, cke and Tug Toy Thank this.

Exactly Right-
The Life of the trailer depends so much on the users habits.
Anything concentrated in 20 feet or less with heavy weights Kills the King pin plate And the tail structure.(Rear sill cossmembers axle mounts) You want the entire trailer filled.
I NEVER belly Load- That's for Lazies.
- If You Must haul Coils I Suggest a 40 foot or smaller trailer for longevity purposes.jamespmack and SeanLyman Thank this. -
Aluminum trailers rust too. This is a Reitnour big bubba. 2007
Jamael Nettles, jamespmack and cke Thank this. -
Ugghh. Seems like if it's not new it's probably not worth it
mojo2010, jamespmack, Nostalgic and 1 other person Thank this.
