Just leave it alone for a while. Don't take it to a CB shop and have it turned up! The newer radios have better modulation than they did 10 years ago. You don't need to take it to a shop and have it "tweaked". Don't buy into the hype that they will make it better, they won't.

They may show you on a meter ho much more the radio is putting out but they don't mention how much of it is wasted off frequency. Imagine holding a garden hose watering something. You put your thumb over the end and the water starts spewing all over. It may seem like it's doing better but you really only want the water in one spot. Like you are trying to fill a cup of water. It would fill faster is it wasn't spraying all over the place, but when it is spraying all over it "looks" better, better on a meter anyway. That's the common sham they promote.

Work on the antenna first if you aren't "getting out" far enough.

    The truth HAHAA !
Even telling them from ground level stay put doesn't help if no English!
Poor fella a few weeks ago, Blocked him in real good. Full dumpster behind his trailer and empty in front. The real estate wasn't big enough for both of us. Told him to hang tight for 10 minutes

    First come first serve :)

I like to tell swift drivers that there is a massive car accident and massive backup just ahead when going opposite direction so they get off at next exit and get lost. They thank me and I lol

One day you will see an attractive lady driving beside you on the cb and want to make her your wife. No cb. No wife.
