Yes Sir, had to find them lol.
Top pic is the way it was in the beginning...
Other pics is after I took the 6" flat fender and King / Queen seat off, giving it more of a softail look.
Engine is updated to 93 inches with original 4 spd with kick / electric start.
Let a man ride it so he could join my wife and I on a ride, we made it just over 2 miles and he laid it down! Broke my heart Six!! Paint job was done by a local man that may be gone now, he was up in years then.
Thinking of putting it back like it was originally, still have the seat and fender, along with a different set of tanks since the left tank took a hit.
I like things Oldskool but still appreciate newer things too.
I respect and appreciate your opinion @TripleSix .... what are your thoughts??? Oldskool or mix in some new look?
I got to finish the CJ5 for my wife, but the Shovel is soon after. It's been setting on a carpet floor by my guns safe for about 8 yrs now at least, its about time to do something with it.
Not going to try and duplicate the paint scheme on it now, trying to think of something new....
Pic with me on it was nearly 15 yrs ago, I still smoked then lol, about 190 lbs. I'm 242 now with a lot more beard and #### load of grey in it lol.MagnumaMoose, PoleCrusher, whoopNride and 24 others Thank this. -
Set with this man many times even being younger as you said you were.
My grandmothers brother, he was a POW in Germany. I miss the conversations from back then.... it's obvious you have noticed the change in the world!
The picture with all the men in the military he is setting front row far left. He is also setting 2nd from left in the newer picture. His brother in law Lester (far right) took me in about 1969, the woman pictured is Winnie, lesters wife. They both were born 1918, she would have been 100 this December 15.
Sorry to babble... just got to thinking of yesteryear sorry.MagnumaMoose, PoleCrusher, Al. Roper and 26 others Thank this. -
Gonna need to get me one of theseMagnumaMoose, PoleCrusher, Al. Roper and 23 others Thank this. -
That thing is too cool to just be sittin around. Needs a fixin and ridin.
Course I’m one to talk. My scoot sits in the garage all summer, but then we get a cold snap like this and all I can think about is riding.

I didn’t appreciate this before buying motorcycles, but EVERYONE that rides has their ride...their style. BTW, the thing about being nice and letting another guy ride your horse is always a bad idea BECAUSE if he was a Man like you, he would have his own horse. But they don’t. And you wind up suffering because you were nice.
I like old school. The young biker I told you about I met. He has a newer bike that he wants to give the old school look. My only concern would be the rigid frame. I don’t think I could take a long ride on a rigid. Beautiful bike BTW.MagnumaMoose, PoleCrusher, Al. Roper and 20 others Thank this. -

There was a discussion where someone told JD that he’d rather listen to YouTube than an older guy because he didn’t want to hear stories from when dinosaurs roamed the earth. I look at your pictures and can only imagine the conversations they had.
The worse thing about all the sidewalk sissies roaming the planet nowadays is, because they refused to listen to those tough old b a s t a r d s, when crap hits the fan, they 1. Don’t know what to do 2. Don’t know how to get the hell out of the way for people that do. 3. Want direction in times of crisis BUT cannot listen or comprehend when stressed. If you don’t listen during a calm, you can’t listen during a crisis.peterbilt_2005, MagnumaMoose, PoleCrusher and 20 others Thank this.
