Tell him you have a friend who strongly suggests not doing a first gear wheelie up an incline(scars to prove it when it goes past 12 o’clock). Then after you get it put together, don’t hit 150 on a two lane and almost rear end a car doing 50 that pulls out. Besides that, they are very safe.

No,a Super 250 came much later. They were a completely different animal,927cid,naturally aspirated. Not sure what Cummins was thinking when they made those,no piston coolers,they where known for crank/oiling issues.Didn't last long (good thing),only ever saw a couple.

 

I’m not sure relationship with these folks but sure sounds like a good time to find a new spring shop.
After they fix their mistakes of course.

Well...looks like I ain’t getting outta here till tomorrow at the earliest because I don’t wanna run back to SoCal...
